I look upon the mountains and I see no snow no hail
I see myself upon its pinnacle This mountain we climb my companion and I He lifts me up when I fall Helps me forge these foreign parts He and I as if stuck in a bubble of timeless bliss The rest of the world miles, miles and miles away We care not for the risks that we take Nor for the life that we may lose Like moths upon a shining light Our eyes see nothing but that light at the end of the tunnel Our boots sink between the snow The demons within it clawing at our feet The vengeful winds whip us around Threatening to send us tumbling down from where we had begun Yet we push ahead We don’t surrender to the fear caged within our hearts Nor for the doubts whispering in our minds Hence me and determination stood side by side Upon this edifice Arms linked like brothers that have just survived the war
